Feed a Family

You can feed a family of four with a Holiday Dinner or supply them with a week’s supply of canned goods and foodstuffs for $25. Just click the PayPal “Donate" button and follow the instructions. We thank you for your donation to help the families in the Kansas City metro!

 

Recurring donation options are also available through PayPal to make it even easier to continue supporting the Dinners program.

 

 

Kitchen Renovation Project

Our greatest need is to renovate the kitchen to not only expand the growing needs of the community but to meet the requests for a meal through United Prayer Movement, Inc.

 

The cost to renovate the kitchen and replace aging appliances is estimated at $135,000.

• The Housing & Construction Ministry of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection will donate skilled labor after funds for materials have been raised.

• Construction materials including HVAC, plumbing, lumber, drywall, and finish carpentry are estimated to be $45,000

• Aging and non-working appliances to be replaced for approximately $90,000 include commercial double oven, cooktop, freezer, refrigerator, dishwasher, and food warmer.
